
| Chris Gardner is beginning his 15th year at Northwest Rankin High School. He began his coaching career as 9th grade coach and was responsible for 9th graders for 5 years. Coach Gardner is now in his 10th year with the varsity team and is responsible for wide receivers and kickers. He is a 1993 graduate of Mississippi State University and served as a place kicker for the Bulldogs from 1989-1992. Coach Gardner is married to the former Christi Clark of Jackson. He also serves as head coach of the men's soccer team at Northwest Rankin. Coach Gardner and Christi have a 6 year old daughter, Gracie. |

| Doug Lycette is beginning his 12th year as a coach at Northwest Rankin High School. His coaching responsibilities in football include leading the defensive line. He is also the assistant coach for the varsity baseball team. Coach Lycette is also involved in leadership for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is married to the former Karen Lord of Canton. They are blessed to be the parents of four children: Jake, 11, Luke, 9, Lynden, 6 and Emerie, 4. |

| Jeff White is entering his 9th year here at Northwest Rankin High School serving as quarterbacks and running backs coach. He is a graduate of Vancleave High School and went on to complete his education at Belhaven College where he played quarterback. Coach White is married to the former Amy Rhoads of Flowood, MS, also a graduate of Northwest Rankin. They enjoy spending their spare time with their two boys, 5 year old Wes and 2 year old Jett. |

| Kyle Stanford is a native of New Albany, MS and a 2003 graduate of New Albany High School. He attended The University of Mississippi, where he received a degree in Social Studies Education in 2007. Coach Stanford is in his first year at Northwest Rankin High School and will be serving as assistant head coach, co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Prior to arriving at Northwest Rankin, Coach Stanford spent the previous four years at Center Hill High School in Olive Branch, MS. During his career at Center Hill, he served as offensive coordinator and coached the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers. |

| Marcus Gibson is entering his 12th year on the coaching staff at Northwest Rankin High School. This will be his 8th year serving as co-defensive coordinator. His coaching responsibilities with football include leading the defensive backs team. He also serves as assistant coach for the boys' and girls' varsity track team. Coach Gibson is a 1993 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School. He continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in English. Coach Gibson began his coaching career at Rowan Junior High School and Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg as a volunteer assistant coach from 1998-1999. Coach Gibson is married to the former Sherry Stephens from East Chicago, Indiana. |

| Robin Lee is entering his 6th year coaching at Northwest Rankin High School and will again be leading the offensive line. Coach Lee is a 1998 graduate of Van Cleave High School and a 2003 graduate of Troy University. Prior to coaching at NWR, Coach Lee served two seasons as defensive line coach at Vancleave High School. He is presently also serving as head powerlifting coach for the Cougars. Coach Lee is married to the former Bethany Sudbeck of Brookhaven, and they are the proud parents of a one year old son, Robin. |

| Dean "Dino" Thompson is beginning his 19th year at Northwest Rankin High School as a volunteer athletic trainer and equipment coach. He graduated from Tioga Senior High School in Tioga, LA. Coach Thompson served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and is currently a Lt. Colonel in the MS State Guard. He is the owner of an environmental consulting company, is also a certified emergency manager and a homeland security instructor. Prior to coming to NWR, he served as an athletic trainer at Northwestern State University at Natchitoches, LA under the direction of Dr. Christmas and also at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA under the direction of Doc Ayres. This will also be his 10th year working with the baseball program. His coaching responsibilities at NWR include supporting the administration and helping the coaching staff in any way to attain a successful program. Coach Thompson has been married to the former Elizabeth Flores of Nuevo Rosita, Coahulia, MX for 33 years. He has been blessed with four children, Timothy, 31, James, 28, David, 28 and Elizabeth, 27. They are also the proud grandparents of 4 grandchildren. He feels blessed to be able to work with such great student athletes and a great school system. "It is a great day to be a Cougar". |
